Kristen McDade

Kristen joined McClarigan CPAs & Advisors in November 2011 as a college intern and was hired as a full-time staff accountant upon her graduation from Millersville University in May 2012. She began her career at McClarigan CPAs providing payroll and bookkeeping services to clients, in addition to financial statement preparation and tax return preparation work. While her role within the firm has changed, Kristen remains an expert in bookkeeping and payroll services and now leads the firm’s Business Health Department. Her background in education has carried over into her relationships with clients. Helping clients understand their numbers and how to read and interpret the financial statements is one of Kristen’s favorite parts of her work.

Kristen and her husband, Gavin, have three children. When she’s not at work, her favorite activities include watching her kids do what they love. You’ll often find her attending a baseball game, marching band performance, bowling match, dance recital, or whatever else her children are involved in!

She enjoys building Legos, taking walks with her husband and youngest son, and curling up in front of the fireplace with a soft blanket and a good book. Kristen and her family love creating memories together in Ocean City, Maryland, and Cape May, New Jersey.
